Description
American Traveler is hiring an LPN for an inpatient rehabilitation hospital, requiring 1+ year of nursing experience and BLS certification, working consistent day shifts Saturday through Monday.

- Inpatient acute rehabilitation hospital setting with 66 beds
- Rehab Nursing unit treating geriatric and neuro patient populations
- Patient ratio of 7:1
- Uses Cerner EHR
- Day shift schedule, consistent block schedule Saturday through Monday, 0645-1915
- No call requirements
Requirements
- Current TX or multistate LPN/LVN license required if applicable
- Current BLS certification (AHA) required
- Minimum 1+ year of nursing experience required
- Nursing degree required (LVN, ADN, or BSN+)
Additional Information
- Provide rehabilitative nursing care for patients recovering from stroke, brain injury, neurological conditions, trauma, spinal cord injury, amputation, and orthopedic injury
- Facility is CARF-accredited for Comprehensive Integrated Inpatient Rehabilitation, Brain Injury, and Spinal Cord Injury Specialty Programs
- Royal blue scrub color required
- Report time is 0645 and charge nurse should be asked for upon arrival
- Free onsite parking available
- Weekend coverage required every weekend
- Permanent address must be more than 60 miles from the facility
- Candidates cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months
- Cannot be employed elsewhere full time while on assignment
