Hardware/Software Technician

We are looking for a talented and technically skilled “people person” who can work with our software & hardware manufacturers. Your base of operations will be our Corporate Headquarters in Bay Shore NY. This is an entry‑level full‑time position. Primary job duties Update documentation for all equipment configured for projects. Perform Windows patches and install various software. IP and test network devices (routers / switches / cameras / access control panels / etc.) Troubleshoot and RMA equipment with manufacturers. Interest in both PC (hardware/software) and Network Technology. Proficient written and verbal communication skills, as well as presentation skills. Ability to problem‑solve. Attention to detail. Ability to work independently. Education and/or Experience The following certifications are preferred but not required: Knowledgeable in troubleshooting of both hardware and software in a Windows environment. Working knowledge of TCP/IP, subnet masking, DHCP and firewalls.
