Office Assistant - Healthcare, Mon-Fri Day Shift (02877)

Adecco Staffing is partnering with a local health facility in Charlestown, RI assisting in the search of an Office Support Assistant. This is a 1st shift role 8:30AM-4:30PM Mon-Fri and the pay rate will be dependent on skills and experience. The Office Support Assistant (OSA) provides day-to-day administrative and clerical support to ensure efficient operations within the office. This role requires strong organizational skills, professionalism, confidentiality, customer service, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced healthcare environment. Provide administrative and clerical support for departments and programs. Answer phones, greet visitors, route inquiries, and provide exceptional customer service. Organize, maintain, and retrieve confidential files, records, and administrative documents. Coordinate travel arrangements, schedules, meetings, and related documentation. Order, receive, store, and distribute office supplies while maintaining inventory records. Assist with accounts payable, invoice processing, expense reports, and financial tracking. Create and maintain spreadsheets, databases, reports, and administrative records. Support facility maintenance coordination, work-order tracking, and vendor scheduling. Prepare reports, support special projects, and assist leadership with administrative initiatives. Ensure compliance with confidentiality, HIPAA, and organizational policies. High School Diploma or GED required. Associate degree, office administration certification, or related education preferred. Minimum of 2 years of administrative, clerical, or office support experience required. Healthcare, medical office, or community health experience strongly preferred. Experience with customer service, healthcare billing, accounts payable, or QuickBooks preferred. Proficiency with Microsoft Office/Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint). Strong organizational, multitasking, and time-management skills. Knowledge of office procedures, records management, scheduling, and document preparation. Strong attention to detail, professionalism, and customer service orientation. Ability to work independently and collaboratively while managing multiple priorities. Successful completion of background investigation, fingerprinting, and drug screening. Ability to travel as needed and occasionally work evenings or weekends.
