About the Position

Job Title: CT Technologist Profession: CT Technologist (Computed Tomography) Specialty: CT (Computed Tomography) Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 10H Days, Wed-Fri, and Every Other Weekend Hours per Shift: 10 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years License: CA license required Certifications: BLS, ARRT-R Must-Have: CT experience required Description: MUST HAVE CT EXPERIENCE. Department: Diagnostic Radiology. Certifications required: Rad Tech I or Rad Tech II with CT. EMR/Equipment used: Cerner. Philips iPatient 64 and Big Bore 16. Manager: Report to the Manager. Weekend requirement to be discussed during the interview. Holidays expected as needed. Call schedule will vary and be discussed during the second interview. Scrub color: Teal, unless in the OR, where scrubs will be provided. Radiologists are in house until 6 PM, then on-call. Shifts available: 8, 10, or 12 hours; specific shift information provided during the interview process. Orientation consists of 1-2 shifts in the department. Common diagnoses/types of patients include those from the OR, ER, both inpatient and outpatient. 2 years of experience required; first-time travelers may be considered. Level II Trauma experience preferred but not required. Radiology is a fast-paced environment. Candidates must be self-starters and ready to hit the ground running. C-arms used in the OR. Staffing is well managed; night shifts may be more challenging due to fewer resources.
