Brand Ambassador

GlenPharmer Distillery is a rapidly growing emerging alcohol brand boasting a robust portfolio of artisan spirits. We are a true craft distillery, producing award-winning spirits in each of the five major spirit categories. We are seeking Independent Contractors to serve as enthusiastic Brand Ambassadors to assist us in promoting our products and story. All applicants should demonstrate an inherent passion for all things spirits and cocktails. Every day we work hard to create personal and memorable experiences for our customers as we educate them about our spirits. We are looking for outgoing and engaging individuals to join our team as Independent Contractors. Successful GlenPharmer Brand Ambassadors will exhibit the following competencies: Outgoing, easy to talk to and comfortable initiating conversations Always pleasant, focused and flexible, even in stressful situations Strong attention to detail Creative thinking and problem-solving skills Personable and engaging, with excellent communication and presentation skills Easily able to collaborate with regional sales managers, key off-premise and on-premise contacts, bartenders/mixologists, and production/event organizers Strong networking skills, with an ability to build and maintain strategic relationships Understands the importance of listening as part of overall communication Passionate about marketing and promotional events Professional personal appearance personifying the GlenPharmer brand and upholding our core values Strong organizational and time management skills Able to multi-task and be a self-starter Learns quickly and takes direction/coaching and feedback well Responsibilities include: Organizing and leading off-site tasting/pouring events at customer locations and event venues located near where Ambassador resides Providing education about the GlenPharmer brand at tastings and trade events Serving as an expert voice and face for the GlenPharmer brand Participating in sales meetings and training as necessary Must be 21+ years old Must be TIPS certified or willing to get TIPS certified before starting Must be reliable and punctual Must have a clean driving record and reliable personal vehicle Ability to lift and carry weight in excess of 40 lbs. Ability to sit and stand for prolonged periods of time Ability to pick up and transport POS, event equipment, and product/merchandise Ability to drive/travel throughout GlenPharmer’s market area (with consideration to where each Ambassador resides). GlenPharmer will provide mileage reimbursement. Ability to work a flexible schedule including afternoons, evenings, and weekends GlenPharmer Distillery values its Independent Contractor partners. The Brand Ambassador position is a Part-Time position that usually involves tasting events of 3 hours in length. With demonstrated performance responsibilities and hours can be expanded to include additional marketing activities. Typical Schedule: Monday - Friday: 3pm-7pm Saturday - Sunday: 12pm - 5pm Great opportunity for college students, those looking for summer work, and people looking for some extra income! As an Independent Contractor, you will receive paid training, mileage reimbursement, reimbursement for approved, business-related expenses, and all necessary products and supplies.
