Assistant Community Association Manager

Administrative Assistant CAMS (Community Association Management Services) local HOA Management firm is in search of a full-time Administrative Assistant to assist in the management of an on-site community located in Durham, NC 27703. Hours of Work: Monday-Friday, 40 hours per week. Pay Rate: $20.00 hourly Responsibilities Assist the Community Manager in all aspects of the job Greet, welcome and direct homeowners that come into the office/clubhouse Provide administrative support. Must be proficient in software usage/technology Assist with communication to community board of directors Schedule and prepare and attend regular board meetings. Take meeting minutes at the board meetings. Maintain communication with homeowners Prepare homeowner packets Sell real estate signs and monitor inventory Maintain the community owner website Respond to homeowner needs Assist in the analysis of monthly financial reports, learn to create variance reports for the boards of directors Contribute to monthly management reports Contact vendors for community maintenance and special projects Other items as needed and assigned Requirements Excellent communication skills Excellent time management skills Excellent customer service skills Excellent problem-solving skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook) Ability to multi-task Detail oriented Ability to learn on the job Some general accounting/financial knowledge Benefits and Rate of Pay The pay rate for this position is $20/hourly.
