Summary: Designs electrical control systems and panels for production products and systems. Conducts, maintains, tests and repairs electrical/electronic systems and components. Applies knowledge of electrical/electronic principles in determining equipment malfunctions and applies skills in restoring equipment to operation. Provides skilled electrical/electronic support to all areas of Manufacturing
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Duties may include the following. Other duties may be assigned as deemed necessary to support production and quality goals and objectives.
- Process Production Orders
- Prepare Electrical Drawings for Products and Systems.
- Maintain BOM's and other product and system related data and parameters.
- Troubleshoot project or system issues as they arise.
- Interact with Multiple support locations and departments.
- Develop and update control Drawings for new and existing products and systems.
- Provide support functions for R&D Dept. and New Product Development.
- Familiar with NEC, NFPA, and other regulatory agency standards.
- Keeps immediate manager up to date on all on-going projects, with regards to project status, completion time projections and any problems that may have arisen during the course of the project.

Education and/or Experience
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering or Technology or the equivalent combination of education and experience
- Ability to work with AutoCad and/or SolidWorks
- Familiar with PLC and PLC programs
Language Skills
- Ability to read and speak English
- Possess both written and oral communication skills appropriate to a workplace environment
Mathematical Skills
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume
- Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry
Other Skills
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
