Ensures that all written standards of cleanliness and maintenance are consistently met, by inspections and follow-up. Assists with the supervision and on-going training of all Housekeeping Associates. Ensures that all designated guestrooms receive service. Assists with Lost and Found, including packing and mailing of packages. Assists with documenting time and attendance for all Housekeeping associates. Ensures furniture, facilities, and equipment are maintained and in good repair. Promotes excellent guest/employee rapport by reacting promptly, efficiently and courteously to all guest requests. Ensures appropriate standards of conduct, hygiene, uniforms and appearance are maintained. Represents the hotel with professionalism and decorum. Establish and maintain effective associate relations. Ensure discipline is administered timely and fairly with HR involvement. Ensure appropriate standards of conduct, dress, hygiene, and appearance are maintained. What do you bring to the role? High school diploma or equivalent, college education in related field preferred. Previous housekeeping supervisory experience for at least 2 years. Ability to prioritize and organize workload to ensure deadlines are met Ability to exercise judgment and implement control over the performance of others. Ability to provide clear direction, instruction, and guidance to subordinates. Ability to communicate effectively to associates - Bi-Lingual a plus. Understands reports and related correspondence and accurately performs all essential job functions. What's in it for you?
