Position Details Reporting Manager : Principal, K-8 Status : Salary, Exempt Type : Regular, Full-Time (12-Month) Program : eSchool Prep Academy (TX) Overview The Supervisor, Grades K-2 Programs will be responsible for leading and supporting the Kindergarten through 2nd grade instructional program by promoting academic excellence, early literacy success, and operational effectiveness. This position partners with instructional leaders and teachers to ensure high-quality, developmentally appropriate instruction, strengthen educator effectiveness, monitor student achievement, and foster positive learning experiences for young learners in a virtual environment. Essential Duties Leadership & Program Oversight Lead and support the implementation of instructional initiatives across Kindergarten through 2nd grade. Foster collaboration among teachers and instructional leaders to promote student achievement and continuous improvement. Facilitate grade-level meetings and support alignment with organizational goals and instructional priorities. Instructional Leadership Oversee the implementation of standards-aligned curriculum with an emphasis on foundational literacy, phonics, and early mathematics. Monitor instructional quality and promote evidence-based, developmentally appropriate instructional practices. Support the effective integration of virtual learning platforms and instructional technology. Teacher Development & Support Coach, mentor, and support teachers through ongoing feedback, professional learning, and instructional guidance. Support the onboarding and development of new instructional staff. Collaborate with school leadership in recruiting, selecting, and retaining high-quality educators. Student Achievement & Family Engagement Monitor student achievement data to identify trends and support academic growth. Guide the implementation of MTSS and intervention strategies that improve early literacy and mathematics outcomes. Promote strong partnerships with families through consistent communication and engagement opportunities. Operations & Compliance Support scheduling, instructional planning, and operational processes for the K-2 program. Assist with state assessment coordination, instructional documentation, and compliance with organizational and state requirements. Provide instructional support and classroom coverage when needed to ensure continuity of instruction. You will play a key role in our collective success by proactively pivoting to support emerging business needs and strategic priorities directed by your manager. Knowledge, Skills & Attributes A minimum of 5 years of successful educational experience, including elementary classroom teaching with a focus on Kindergarten through 2nd grade. Strong knowledge of early childhood education, child development, and evidence-based instructional practices. Extensive knowledge of the Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS) for elementary instruction and the Science of Teaching Reading. Experience implementing early literacy, phonics, and foundational mathematics instruction. Strong understanding of MTSS, progress monitoring, and intervention strategies for young learners. Ability to analyze student achievement data and implement data-driven instructional improvements. Excellent leadership, coaching, communication, and relationship-building skills. Proven experience working independently with minimal supervision, including the ability to manage a digital task list and maintain a stable remote (home-office) infrastructure. Minimum of 1–2 years of experience using the Google Workspace suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides, Drive) in a professional or academic setting. Demonstrated ability to communicate complex ideas via written channels (Email, Google Chat, and Document Comments) with high clarity and low ambiguity. Access to a private, secure, high-speed internet connection with a minimum of 25 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload speeds. Previous instructional leadership, coaching, or supervisory experience preferred. Experience supporting early literacy initiatives and data-driven instruction preferred. Experience in a virtual or blended learning environment is preferred. Education & Certification Requirements Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field required. Master's degree in Education, Educational Leadership, Curriculum & Instruction, or a related field preferred. Valid Texas Teaching Certificate required. Core Subjects EC-6 certification required. Successful completion of the Texas Reading Academies or equivalent Science of Teaching Reading (STR) training preferred.
