In this role, you'll earn $19.00–$21.00 per hour while enjoying the flexibility needed to balance work with your personal commitments. We offer flexible scheduling based on your availability, assignments close to home whenever possible, and the opportunity to build meaningful, long-term relationships with the children and families you serve. You'll enjoy a variety of assignments, including newborn care, school-aged child support, special needs assistance, and family respite care, so every day feels unique and rewarding.

This position is part-time and offers various shifts and schedules based on client needs and your availability.

As a Family Support Caregiver, you'll play an important role in creating positive experiences for children while providing valuable support to their families. Your day may begin by helping a child ease into their morning routine before leading creative activities that encourage learning and imagination. Throughout your shift, you'll assist with meals, snacks, homework, and age-appropriate activities while ensuring every child feels safe, engaged, and cared for. You'll maintain a clean and organized environment through light housekeeping related to the children's care and regularly communicate with parents and our office team to ensure each family's unique needs are being met. Every shift offers the opportunity to build trust, foster confidence, create meaningful moments, and provide the kind of dependable support families rely on.

THE TYPE OF CANDIDATE WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• High school diploma or GED minimum
• 1+ years of professional child care, nanny, preschool, daycare, or babysitting experience, or being in charge of children
• Valid California driver's license
• Reliable transportation and current auto insurance
• Current CPR and First Aid certification or willingness to obtain before working independently
• Current TB test or willingness to obtain
• Complete Care Academy before starting
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, Spanish is a plus
