Salary: $32 - $45/ HR + Commissions
Summary
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Commercial HVAC Technician to join our team. In this role, youll be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing a wide range of commercial heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. Youll work with equipment ranging from, but not limited to, rooftop package units, split systems, VRF systems, air-cooled chillers, and boilers. Your expertise will keep our customers operations running smoothly, efficiently, and comfortably year-round.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on commercial HVAC systems
- Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical and electrical issues in systems ranging from rooftop package units, split systems, VRF systems, air-cooled chillers, and boilers
- Complete service calls promptly, professionally, and with a focus on customer satisfaction
- Ensure all work meets industry standards, safety requirements, and manufacturer guidelines
- Keep detailed records of services performed, parts used, and recommendations for future work
- Collaborate with team members and communicate clearly with customers regarding service findings and solutions
Qualifications
Experience & Technical Knowledge
- 5+ years of commercial HVAC service experience required
- Strong knowledge of commercial HVAC systems including rooftop units, split systems, VRF, air-cooled chillers, and boilers
Certifications
- EPA Certification required
- Additional HVAC certifications a plus
Skills
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and wiring diagrams
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
- Strong communication and customer service skills
Other Qualifications
- Must pass a background check
- Valid drivers license with a clean driving record
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Commitment to safety and quality workmanship
