About the Position

Job Title: RN Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Rehabilitation Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 06:30 - 19:00 Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: Must have an active RN license in the state Certifications: Current BLS (CPR) certification required Must-Have: CRRN preferred Description: Contractors must comply with the Influenza Vaccination Policy. Individuals who do not receive the influenza vaccination due to an approved medical or religious exemption must wear a mask during the influenza season. Masking will begin on November 1 and continue through March 31. The facility provides inpatient rehabilitation services for patients recovering from strokes, brain or spinal cord injuries, amputations, multiple trauma, cancer, complex orthopedic injuries, and other conditions. The hospital is designed to promote recuperation outside the traditional hospital setting. The facility includes a brain injury unit with monitored rooms and specialized beds. There is also a dedicated stroke care unit with specialized equipment. Gymnasiums are available featuring high-tech therapy devices and treatments. A special apartment is provided for patients and families to practice daily living tasks. Private, family-friendly rooms with sleeper chairs are available. Additional features include pet therapy and recreational programs, as well as an outdoor healing garden and walking trail. A dedicated team of doctors and nurses provides exceptional patient care with an emphasis on improving individual functional ability and quality of life. The comprehensive treatment approach addresses physical, emotional, and psychological components. Each patient is evaluated focusing on movement patterns, strength, flexibility, functional ability, balance, and tone. Therapists work closely with physicians, specialists, and family members to treat patients as they progress toward their goals. The patient population primarily includes adults aged 18 years and older. Nurse patient ratios are approximately 1:6-7 during the day and 1:8 at night. Each nurse has a dedicated tech for support. Scrub color is black, and an ID badge must be worn. Time to report is 6:30. Flexibility, collaboration, and a positive demeanor are essential traits for candidates.
