Manufacturing - Material Handler 3 Shift 1

This role involves performing the physical or administrative tasks involved in shipping, receiving, order fulfillment, storing, and distributing materials, parts, supplies, and equipment. The position requires unpacking and checking goods received against purchase orders or invoices, maintaining records of received goods, and rejecting unsatisfactory items. This role is for Monday Friday, 7:00am 3:30pm, though hours may be subject to change after training.

Key Responsibilities

• Work in a shipping/receiving environment.
• Pack and unpack systems, accessories, parts, and components.
• Handle delicate and sensitive parts and materials with care.
• Perform daily interactions with ERP, email, and project management systems.
• Maintain records of material movement.
• Follow detailed packaging procedures for routine equipment combinations.
• Exercise judgment in the safe packaging of less common equipment combinations.
• Communicate with different groups to coordinate the outbound flow of material.
• Perform cycle counts of inventory, specializing in packing material.
• Submit timely replenishment requests for packing materials.
• Assist in preparing kits for internal or external assembly operations.

Required Qualifications

Education: HS Graduate or equivalent.

Experience: A minimum of 5 years of work experience is required. 2 to 4 years of this experience should be in Material-related functions.

Skills:

• Ability to follow step-by-step instructions and escalate documentation gaps.
• Attention to detail.
• Organizational skills to keep track of high volumes of paperwork and inventory.
• Time-management skills to complete tasks on time or proactively communicate potential delays.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment with shifting priorities.
• Willingness to be reliable and accountable.
