About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Med Surg Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 19:00-07:00 Hours per Shift: 36 Experience: Minimum 2 years in Med Surg in a hospital setting License: Must have license in hand Certifications: BLS required Must-Have: Minimum 2 years experience in Med Surg in a hospital setting Description: Unit Information: 27 beds with 5-6 RNs and 2-3 LNAs. Charge RN on day shift with RNs and LNAs. Night shift consists of a Charge RN, RNs, and 2-3 LNAs. Patient ratios are 5-6:1. Typical equipment includes Hoyer, CPM, and EMR. Common procedures performed include orthopedic surgeries such as knees, hips, shoulders, and cervical, as well as bariatrics. Candidates should be able to work collaboratively with team members and maintain a patient-focused approach. Weekend shifts required; 4 weekend shifts within a 4-week schedule.
