Job Title

Travel RN – Critical Care Float Pool

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13 Weeks | Days (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM) | Expected 36–48 hours/week

Key Responsibilities

• Float across a variety of ICU settings including Neuro/Trauma SICU, MICU, CPS/VICU, and CCU
• Provide competent critical care to patients in the Progressive Critical Care Unit (PCCU)
• Care for ICU and PCC patients in the ED and PACU awaiting bed placement
• Adapt quickly to diverse patient populations and unit environments within a large acute care facility
• Utilize Epic EMR for all clinical documentation

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license (or compact equivalent) valid in New York
• Minimum 2 years of ICU experience required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• Must be willing to complete a competency test within 24 hours of submission
• Candidates must not reside in ineligible local counties — only non-local travelers are being considered at this time

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in a Level I Trauma Center strongly preferred
• Prior experience floating to multiple ICU types within a single assignment
• Familiarity with high-acuity cardiac, vascular, and neurosurgical patient populations
