Tax Accountant

This is a full-time, in-office position. You will be responsible for preparing and reviewing a diverse portfolio of tax returns, representing the firm in a face-to-face advisory capacity, and helping clients navigate complex tax laws. Core Responsibilities Tax Preparation & Review: Handle a wide variety of returns including individuals, trusts, partnerships, S and C corporations, multi-state corporate taxes, not-for-profits, and foreign entities. Client Advisory: Serve as a direct, face-to-face advisor to clients, presenting tax strategies and answers clearly. Audit Support: Assist with federal and state tax audits and respond directly to regulatory agency inquiries. Compliance: Maintain an up-to-date, proactive understanding of current tax laws and regulations. Client Management: Successfully balance and manage a diverse client load with strong communication and customer service skills. Job Requirements Must-Haves: Experience: 3 to 5 years of experience in public accounting . Client Skills: Proven ability to manage a client load, advise on tax strategies, and present returns face-to-face. Communication: Strong interpersonal and customer service skills. Adaptability: Self-reliant mindset with the ability to juggle multiple tasks simultaneously. Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field. Proficiency with QuickBooks and Lacerte software. Schedule & Hours This is a fully on-site role, 5 days per week, with a modified schedule to support the team during peak periods: Standard Hours: 5 days per week (9:00 AM – 5:00 PM baseline).
