Qualifications Valid driver's license with a safe driving record Comfortable driving and maneuvering a variety of customer vehicles Reliable transportation to and from work Consistently punctual and dependable Comfortable working on your feet and staying active throughout the day Able to work effectively in a fast-paced automotive shop Strong attention to detail Positive attitude and willingness to help wherever needed Able to follow established processes and instructions Coachable and willing to learn Automotive experience is helpful, but not required What You'll Do | Car Porter Responsibilities As a Car Porter , you play an important role in keeping our technicians, Service Advisors, and customers moving efficiently throughout the day. Your responsibilities will include: Keep Vehicles Moving Safely move customer vehicles throughout the property, parking areas, and service bays as needed. Maintain Lot Organization Keep customer vehicles and parking areas organized so the service team can quickly locate and access vehicles. Support the Service Team Assist Service Advisors, Technicians, and managers with vehicle movement and other operational needs that help keep the shop productive. Vehicle Pickup & Delivery Assist with customer vehicle transportation, parts runs, or other driving-related responsibilities when needed. Maintain Vehicle Presentation Help ensure customer vehicles are treated with care and returned clean, organized, and presentable. Shop Organization Help maintain clean and organized parking areas, common areas, and workspaces. Process Discipline Follow Nealey Tire & Auto's procedures for vehicle handling, keys, parking, documentation, and customer property. Be the Utility Player Jump in where needed.
