of bariatric surgeons, obesity?medicine physicians, dietitians, and nurses. We support patients throughout their weight?management journey, from conservative treatment approaches to surgical intervention and long?term follow?up.

The


Registered Nurse (RN)


in the Outpatient Weight Management Clinic is responsible for delivering high?quality, patient?centered nursing care within a multidisciplinary surgical setting. Key responsibilities include initiating


peripheral intravenous (IV) access


for in?clinic procedures, conducting


clinical triage


of patient telephone inquiries, and coordinating


prior authorizations


for diagnostic studies and surgical interventions. The RN also assists with


pre?operative and post?operative patient flow


by preparing and rooming patients for the surgeon. This role requires strong clinical judgment, meticulous attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to supporting patients throughout the bariatric and weight?management care continuum.

As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care?in accordance with?established standards, policies, and procedures.

Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
