Shift: 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM
Schedule: Rotating weekends and three (3) holidays per year
Pay: $16-$18 based on experience

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Housekeeper (Environmental Services Technician) to join our healthcare team. This essential role helps maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff while supporting infection prevention and patient satisfaction initiatives throughout the facility.

The ideal candidate takes pride in delivering high-quality housekeeping services, demonstrates a strong commitment to cleanliness and safety, and thrives in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

• Perform routine cleaning, disinfecting, and sanitizing of patient rooms, clinical areas, public spaces, and common areas in accordance with hospital standards and infection control protocols.
• Complete terminal/discharge cleaning of patient rooms to ensure timely room turnover and readiness for new admissions.
• Set up, stock, and reconfigure patient rooms as needed.
• Operate and maintain housekeeping equipment to ensure safe and effective performance.
• Promptly report equipment malfunctions, damaged furnishings, and facility maintenance concerns to leadership.
• Adhere to all organizational policies, safety guidelines, and sanitation procedures.
• Deliver exceptional service that contributes to a positive patient and visitor experience.
• Collaborate effectively with department staff and other healthcare team members to support operational excellence.

• Minimum of one (1) year of housekeeping or Environmental Services (EVS) experience , preferably in a hospital or healthcare setting.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Dependable, professional, and customer-service oriented.
• Flexibility to work rotating weekends and designated holidays as required.

• Employees will be provided with a uniform. During the initial onboarding period, employees should wear black scrubs for the first few weeks if available. If black scrubs are not available, employees should wear all-black attire .
• Non-slip shoes are required for safety purposes.
• Crocs and shoes with open toes or open heels are not permitted.

Qualified candidates must be able to provide the following:

• Two professional reference letters from a supervisor within the past two years.
• 7 Year background check
• High School Diploma
• Successful completion of a drug screening .
• Current TB test documentation.
• Proof of required immunizations and/or immunity titers, including:
  • Tdap
  • Influenza (Flu)
  • MMR (vaccination or titer)
  • Hepatitis B (vaccination or titer)
  • Varicella (vaccination or titer)
