Job Description

As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Documentation in Seattle, WA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a busy retail location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support access control. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while responding to security-related concerns. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to customers, visitors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout the retail location, including sales areas, entrances, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter, to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe activity within the location, reporting suspicious behavior, hazards, and maintenance concerns according to site-specific procedures.
• Complete required reports and maintain clear communication with site management, Allied Universal leadership, and emergency responders as appropriate.

Minimum Requirements:

• Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
