Project Manager

We are recruiting on behalf of established New York general contractors specializing in high-end residential construction - renovations and gut projects on apartments, townhouses and single-family homes across the city and the surrounding metro area. These are long-standing firms with reputations built on craftsmanship, repeat clients and well-run job sites rather than volume.

The role

You will run luxury residential projects end to end from a Long Island City office - a materially easier commute than Manhattan for anyone in Queens, Brooklyn or on Long Island. The schedule, the budget, the quality and the client are yours.

What you will do

• Own assigned luxury residential projects from preconstruction through closeout.
• Write and administer client and subcontractor contracts.
• Hold the schedule and the budget, and report on both.
• Run buyout, change orders, requisitions and monthly billing.
• Work daily with owners, architects and design teams.
• Supervise assistant project managers.

What we are looking for

• Ten years of construction experience, with at least five on high-end residential work for a general contractor or construction management firm.
• A record of running your own projects.
• Deep familiarity with New York City construction.
• Client-facing and comfortable with it.

Compensation and benefits

$140,000 - $160,000 , depending on experience.

Benefits vary by employer and are covered in full when we discuss the specific opportunity with you. Every firm we represent for this role offers medical coverage, a 401(k) with an employer match, paid time off and paid company holidays.

Represented exclusively by CLT Recruiters LLC. The employer is not named at this stage and will be disclosed when we speak.
