Job Description

• General warehouse - physical movement, storage, control, and protection of goods throughout a supply chain. Responsibilities typically include loading/unloading delivery trucks, inspecting shipments, organizing stock on pallet racks, and manually or mechanically picking and staging orders for dispatch. Use of forklifts and pallet jacks.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Previous experience in automotive, plastics, or related manufacturing environments is beneficial.
• Comfort working in structured assembly cells with regular rotation between stations.
• Ability to adapt to different departments, including assembly, molding, and paint-support operations.
• Reliability and a career-oriented mindset suited to a long-tenure environment.

Work Environment

This position is based in a Tier 1 automotive manufacturing facility that produces plastic door handles and related components. The environment is clean, well-organized, and focused on safety and quality. Work is performed on 8–10 hour shifts, with available schedules including 1st shift (approximately 6:30 a.m.–3:00 p.m., with earlier start times when overtime is scheduled), 2nd shift (approximately 3:00 p.m.–11:30 p.m., with later end times when overtime is scheduled), and 3rd shift (approximately 11:00 p.m.–7:00 a.m.). You will spend most of your time on your feet, rotating through assembly, molding, and paint-support areas where parts are lightweight plastic components. The paint area is very clean, and you will not handle wet paint or perform painting tasks. The facility maintains a casual dress code, requiring clothing that is safe, not loose, and not offensive. The plant is centrally located in Muskegon with convenient access to public transportation, including bus lines running near the facility, making commuting easier for many employees.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Muskegon, MI.

The pay range for this position is $16.50 - $17.25/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Muskegon,MI.
