If you have a love for teaching little ones and want to set them on a path of lifelong learning, we'd love to have you on our team at The Nest Family Center as a Full-time or Part-time Lead Childcare Teacher!Pay: Our Lead Childcare Teacher earns $20.00/hour.Benefits And Perks:Health, dental, and vision insurancePaid time off401(k)Growth opportunitiesFree childcare for one childProfessional development reimbursement (up to $100/year)QUALIFICATIONSOur Lead Teacher needs to meet at least one of the following state requirements:Completion of 18 credits in related coursework, including 3 credits in child/human growth and development, and 1000 hours of experience working with children in an elementary school or a licensed childcare programCompletion of 12 credits in related coursework plus 3000 hours of experience working with children in an elementary school or licensed childcare programNon-expired child development associate (CDA) in center-based programs awarded by the Council for Professional RecognitionA credential from a MACTE-accredited teacher preparation program5+ years of experience as a licensed family childcare provider with no imposed enforcement actionsCompletion of the New Hampshire Early Childhood Apprenticeship Program1000 hours of supervised childcare experience in a licensed program and completion of a 2-year vocational course in career and technical education with 9 credits in related courseworkDocumentation that you were qualified for and employed as a lead teacher on or before November 6, 2017Preferred Criteria:CPR/First Aid certificationAbility to develop an educational and engaging curriculumAttention to detail and collaboration skillsLEAD CHILDCARE TEACHER RESPONSIBILITIESOur Full-time Lead Teacher works 8:00 am - 4:30 pm, Monday - Friday.Our Part-time Lead Teacher Works either 8:00 am-1:00pm or 12:00 pm- 5:00 pmEvery day is a new opportunity to spark joy, curiosity, and growth in young minds! Throughout the day, you'll also stay connected with families, sharing updates on their child's progress, daily experiences, and any concerns with warmth and care.
