At LEAPS Services, we are redefining what support for neurodivergent individuals can look like. LEAPS Services is a community based coaching and learning program that focuses on independence, executive functioning, social communication, functional academics, vocational exploration, wellness, and meaningful community integration for neurodivergent adolescents and young adults. We are seeking highly motivated, emotionally intelligent, and purpose driven professionals to join our team as full time Neurodivergent Life Coaches. This is a teaching, mentorship, and implementation based position designed for individuals who are passionate about human development, neurodiversity affirming practices, experiential learning, and helping neurodivergent individuals build meaningful and sustainable life skills through real world experiences. The ideal candidate understands how to lead with patience, structure, adaptability, creativity, and professionalism while creating engaging opportunities for growth both inside and outside of traditional learning environments. What Youll Be Doing
Facilitating individualized coaching sessions focused on executive functioning, organization, time management, problem solving, communication, emotional regulation, and independence Supporting participants in developing functional academic skills through real world application, including money management, scheduling, reading comprehension, technology use, community navigation, and practical math Designing and implementing engaging learning opportunities based on participant interests, strengths, and goals Teaching transferable life skills through experiential and community based learning opportunities rather than passive supervision Supporting vocational exploration, volunteer opportunities, career readiness, and professional skill development Facilitating social communication growth through structured peer interactions, collaborative activities, and community engagement Creating opportunities for participants to build confidence, self advocacy skills, flexibility, and decision making abilities Supporting project based learning experiences related to wellness, entrepreneurship, creativity, movement, community integration, and independent living Implementing individualized strategies and supports that align with neurodiversity affirming and person centered practices Collaborating with families and interdisciplinary team members to ensure consistency, growth, and meaningful outcomes Completing professional documentation, session planning, progress tracking, and communication in a timely and organized manner Maintaining professionalism, adaptability, leadership, and strong judgment across a variety of dynamic community environments Preferred Educational & Professional Backgrounds

Coaching and Mentorship Programs Experience supporting neurodivergent adolescents or young adults in educational, behavioral, recreational, therapeutic, coaching, or community based settings is highly preferred. Schedule & Work Structure
This is a full time position. Scheduling typically takes place Monday through Friday, with occasional evenings, weekend activities, or community events depending on participant programming and organizational needs. Typical shifts may include: 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM
9:00 AM to 5:00 PM
10:00 AM to 6:00 PM While staff are scheduled for full 8 hour workdays, direct participant sessions typically average approximately 5 hours per day. Remaining paid work hours are dedicated to: Session preparation and curriculum planning
Documentation and progress reporting
Team collaboration and meetings
Program development and activity preparation
Participant support planning
Community coordination
Professional development and training
Transportation and transition support between activities This role is highly active, hands on, and community based. Staff should expect to spend a significant portion of the day facilitating experiences in real world environments rather than remaining in a traditional office setting. Qualifications
Bachelors Degree REQUIRED Minimum 5 years of professional experience in education, behavioral support, coaching, mentoring, disability services, youth development, or related fields Strong verbal and written communication skills Demonstrated ability to lead, facilitate, and implement structured learning experiences Valid Drivers License and reliable transportation Ability to transport participants safely throughout the community CPR and First Aid Certification or willingness to obtain upon hire Ability to pass DOJ fingerprint clearance Compensation & Benefits

This is not an entry level position. At LEAPS Services, our Neurodivergent Life Coaches operate with a high level of independence, leadership, professionalism, and critical thinking throughout the day. This role requires individuals who can confidently facilitate learning experiences, navigate complex interpersonal dynamics, implement individualized strategies, advocate effectively, and make sound decisions in real time across community based environments. A Bachelors Degree or undergraduate level education is considered the minimum foundational requirement for this position. We are seeking individuals with strong professional experience, emotional intelligence, excellent judgment, and the ability to independently lead and implement meaningful programming for neurodivergent adolescents and young adults. This role combines elements of mentorship, executive functioning support, behavioral understanding, advocacy, experiential education, and community based coaching. Staff are expected to think proactively, communicate professionally, adapt quickly, and maintain a strong level of accountability throughout all aspects of their work. Successful candidates are typically individuals who already have experience in roles involving education, behavioral support, leadership, youth development, disability services, coaching, therapy related fields, or community based programming. This position carries a level of responsibility comparable to a leadership or supervisory role, as coaches are entrusted with facilitating high quality participant experiences, representing the values and standards of LEAPS Services within the community, supporting families through collaborative communication, and helping shape the overall quality and integrity of our services. We are looking for professionals who are capable, engaged, highly motivated, and genuinely committed to creating meaningful and lasting impact within the neurodivergent community.
