Responsibilities/Duties: Act as a visual deterrent to prevent theft, embezzlement, sabotage, fire, and accidents Monitor activities Access Control Safety escorts Using provided communication devices Represent SSNW’s brand Properly wear the issued uniform Complete Daily Activity Reports (DAR) Work with local law enforcement, and emergency services. Provide friendly assistance to customers, employees and visitors following the department's procedures. Other duties as described in the Post Orders Required Skills/Abilities: Current Oregon State Unarmed Security Guard License Must have a clean criminal record and driving record Must have a VALID driver's license 2-4 years of combined experience (Military, Law Enforcement) EMT Background a huge plus Smart phone to access the apps we use for scheduling, clocking in/out, and reporting Availability to work any shift (days, swings, graveyard) Must be ok with working on- call Reliable transportation Honesty and Integrity Able to work non-traditional hours including swings, graveyard, weekends, and holidays Ability to react appropriately in high stress situations Education and Experience: High School Diploma or Equivalent Knowledge of security protocols, and equipment Physical Requirements: Must be able to conduct regular walking foot patrols Able to stand 8-12 hours a day Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times (occasionally) SSNW is committed to protecting the privacy and confidentiality of applicant and employee information.
