Clarity Locums are currently recruiting for Registered General Nurses (RGNs) for agency work within Community Nursing settings with clients in the Limerick area .

Duties

  • Providing high-quality person-centred nursing care within the community
  • Assessing and monitoring patients in their own homes and community settings across Limerick
  • Carrying out clinical observations and monitoring patients conditions
  • Recognising and responding appropriately to changes in patients clinical presentation
  • Administering medications and treatments safely and effectively
  • Supporting patients with ongoing healthcare needs and individual care plans
  • Liaising with GPs community healthcare teams and other healthcare professionals
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date nursing documentation
  • Promoting patient safety dignity and independence

Requirements

  • Bachelors Degree in General Nursing and Active Registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI)
  • Minimum 6 months post-registration nursing experience
  • Previous Community Nursing experience is desirable
  • Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills
  • Experience recognising and responding to changes in patients clinical condition
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and effectively in a community setting
  • Full driving licence and access to your own transport is desirable
  • Eligible to work in Ireland
  • Registered with Clarity Locums (or willing to register)
