Located in Los Angeles, CA Salary: $80 - 90K, DOE Senior Bookkeeper $80 - 90K, DOE Monday Friday / 7:00am-4:30pm A high-end home furnishings company in East LA is seeking a Senior Bookkeeper to support its accounting operations and maintain accurate financial records. This role focuses on journal entries, high-volume invoice processing, and ensuring consistency across financial data. The ideal candidate brings strong bookkeeping experience, advanced Excel skills, and a high level of accuracy and organization. Senior Bookkeeper Responsibilities:- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping and maintain accurate financial records
- Prepare and post journal entries and reconcile accounts
- Process and track a high volume of invoices (approximately 3,000 per month)
- Ensure accuracy and timeliness of accounts payable and receivable
- Maintain and organize financial data and documentation
- Assist with month-end closing and reporting activities
- Identify and resolve discrepancies in financial records
- Previous experience as a Senior Bookkeeper or similar role required
- Strong knowledge of journal entries and general bookkeeping practices
- Experience handling high-volume invoicing
- Advanced Excel skills required, including VLookups and pivot tables
- Experience using tools such as Copilot
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Experience with A/P and A/R bank reconciliations
- Experience using AI tools such as Copilot and Claude
- Recent experience using Quick Books Online
