MEP Project Manager

Overview STV is seeking a dynamic MEP Project Manager to join our Owner’s Project Management team in the Boston, MA office. Current projects include Healthcare, Life Science and Higher Education clients in Massachusetts. Acting on behalf of the owner, key responsibilities will include overseeing the design, engineering and construction of multiple infrastructure related projects on fully occupied campuses, including shut downs, tie‑ins and quality control while interacting extensively with multiple stakeholders throughout the project delivery cycle. Responsibilities Oversee design, engineering, and construction of multiple infrastructure related projects on fully occupied campuses. Manage project shutdowns, tie‑ins, and quality control. Interact extensively with multiple stakeholders throughout the project delivery cycle. Manage overall project budget, schedule, and quality of the work. Run weekly OAC meetings and follow‑up activities. Qualifications Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience. 10+ years’ experience working on similar projects within the educational, institutional, and life science environment. Extensive MEP related experience and familiarity with applicable building codes, central plant operations, and construction means and methods. Excellent communication and problem‑solving skills to maintain strong client relationships and repeat business. Ability to present technical material in traditional and innovative ways for both technical and non‑technical audiences. Experience in leading, supervising, or mentoring team members and delivering timely feedback and recognition to others (preferred). LEED AP, CPD, or PE certifications are preferred but not required.
