Levi Homes LLC is a Houston-based design-build general contractor specializing in high-end residential remodeling, additions, and custom construction .

We are seeking an experienced Residential Construction Project Manager with strong, hands-on construction knowledge who can take ownership of projects from pre-construction and jobsite mobilization through final completion.

This is not simply a project coordinator position . We need someone who understands construction in the field, can recognize quality workmanship, anticipate problems, manage subcontractors and budgets, maintain schedules, communicate professionally with homeowners, and drive projects to completion.

The right candidate will be proactive, accountable, organized, solutions-oriented, and comfortable working within established company processes and project requirements.

What You'll Be Responsible For

Project & Field Management

• Manage assigned residential remodeling, addition, and custom construction projects from pre-construction through close-out
• Develop and maintain project schedules, including short-term look-ahead schedules
• Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, inspections, materials, and deliveries
• Maintain consistent jobsite progress and minimize downtime between trades
• Conduct regular jobsite inspections and verify work against plans, scope, selections, and company quality standards
• Identify deficiencies, improper installations, sequencing conflicts, and potential problems before they become costly issues
• Hold subcontractors accountable for quality, scope, schedule, cleanliness, and completion
• Maintain organized and professional jobsites
• Coordinate permitting, inspections, engineering, and design-related requirements as needed

Construction Knowledge

Candidates must have a strong working knowledge of residential construction, including:

• Site preparation, grading, foundations, and concrete
• Structural framing and building envelope
• Roofing, flashing, waterproofing, and moisture management
• Mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems
• Insulation and drywall
• Tile and flooring
• Cabinetry and millwork
• Interior and exterior finishes
• Paint, trim, doors, hardware, and final finishes
• High-end residential installation and quality standards

You must be able to read and interpret architectural, structural, and MEP plans and understand how the different trades and construction phases interact.

We are looking for someone who can walk onto a jobsite, understand what is happening, determine whether the work is being performed correctly, recognize what comes next, and identify potential problems early.

Budget & Cost Control

• Manage projects according to approved budgets and scopes
• Obtain and compare subcontractor and vendor proposals
• Negotiate competitive pricing while protecting quality and project requirements
• Track committed and anticipated project costs
• Review subcontractor work against contracted scope before approving completion
• Identify potential cost overruns and communicate them before costs are incurred
• Assist with material take-offs and purchasing when required
• Identify scope changes and provide the information necessary for change orders before additional work proceeds
• Maintain awareness of project profitability throughout construction

Documentation & Communication

• Maintain accurate project documentation within the company's construction management system
• Complete consistent daily jobsite reports with progress summaries and photos
• Document jobsite conditions, delays, deficiencies, decisions, and outstanding items
• Maintain current project schedules and upcoming trade requirements
• Communicate issues promptly rather than allowing problems to remain unresolved
• Provide the office with accurate information regarding project progress, costs, change orders, and upcoming needs
• Maintain professional and proactive communication with homeowners throughout construction
• Escalate decisions requiring leadership approval in a timely manner

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years of verifiable residential construction experience preferred , with substantial field experience
• Demonstrated experience managing residential remodeling, additions, custom homes, or similar construction projects
• Strong knowledge of the complete residential construction process
• Ability to read architectural and structural plans and construction documents
• Ability to recognize quality issues and improper installations in the field
• Experience managing subcontractors, schedules, budgets, materials, and inspections
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Strong organizational and documentation skills
• Professional written and verbal communication
• Comfortable using computers, mobile applications, and construction management software
• Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and ability to travel between Houston-area jobsites
• Basic construction tools appropriate for field supervision

Preferred Qualifications

• High-end residential remodeling or custom homebuilding experience
• Familiarity with Houston-area permitting and inspection processes
• Established relationships with reliable Houston-area subcontractors and vendors
• Experience with Houzz Pro or similar construction management software
• Experience preparing material take-offs and reviewing subcontractor proposals
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus

Compensation & Growth

Starting Base Salary: $70,000
+ Gas Reimbursement
+ Uncapped Performance-Based Bonuses

Performance is formally reviewed every three months , with compensation growth and advancement tied to measurable performance.

• Change-order and cost-control discipline
• Client satisfaction and communication
• Project documentation
• Problem resolution
• Accountability and follow-through
• Overall project performance

The $70,000 base salary is the starting point—not the earning ceiling.

Strong performers will have the opportunity to increase their compensation and responsibilities as the company grows.

Schedule

This is a full-time, primarily field-based position serving projects throughout the Houston area.

Most work occurs during normal business hours. However, construction does not always operate strictly Monday through Friday, 8:00–5:00. Reasonable flexibility is required for inspections, critical construction activities, project demands, homeowner needs, and occasional after-hours or weekend situations.
