We take pride in delivering top-tier craft, supporting our tradespeople, and offering structured, dependable work schedules.Position SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Journeyman Residential Electrician to join our Service Department. In this role, you will diagnose, troubleshoot, install, and repair residential and light commercial electrical, electronic, and integrated mechanical systems. You will serve as a primary technical specialist in the field, helping customers make informed repair-versus-replace decisions while delivering exceptional service.Key ResponsibilitiesTroubleshoot, test, install, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, electronic components, and control devices.Read and accurately interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical blueprints.Utilize specialized electrical diagnostic instruments to pinpoint malfunctions and execute long-term repairs.Advise customers with clear, professional recommendations regarding equipment repair vs. replacement options.Safely operate job site equipment, including scissor lifts and genie lifts, adhering strictly to safety protocols.Maintain a clean, professional appearance and provide high-level customer service on every service call.QualificationsRequired:Licensing: Valid Journeyman Electrician license in state of operation (WA or ID).Driver's License: Valid driver's license.Technical Proficiency: Demonstrated mastery of electrical troubleshooting techniques, schematics, and diagnostic instruments.Safety & Equipment: Highly safety-conscious with proven experience operating standard lifts (scissor/genie) safely.Customer Service: Strong communication and decision-making skills with a customer-first focus.Preferred:Experience: 3+ years of hands-on electrical service experience.Education: Technical school certificate or apprenticeship completion program.Driving Record: Clean, insurable driving record.Tools: Possess standard personal hand/trade tools required for daily electrical service.Benefits & Compensation PackagePay Range: $40.00 – $55.00 per hour + performance incentives (spiffs).Stable Hours: Fixed day shift schedule (7:00 AM – 4:00 PM, Monday through Friday).Medical Coverage: 90% employer-paid medical insurance premiums.Optional Coverage: Dental, Vision, and Supplemental (Aflac) plans available.401(k) Plan: 100% company match up to 3%.Paid Time Off: 2 weeks paid vacation and sick leave (accrues/available after 90 days) plus 6 paid holidays per year.
