Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care for a travel nursing job in Seattle, Washington. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care Discipline: RN Start Date: 09/14/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Job Summary: Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Nurse position in Seattle, Washington. This role involves providing specialized care for neonates and infants in a Level III or IV NICU, with a focus on high-risk deliveries and advanced neonatal procedures. The position requires flexibility to float to different campuses and entails night shifts. Job Details: Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week Certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support), NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) Required Qualifications: Minimum of 3 years of experience working in a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, valid compact state license in hand at submission, at least 1 year of recent NICU experience, proficiency in managing high-frequency ventilators, PICC and central line care, blood and blood product administration, and neonatal procedures including feeding tubes and therapeutic hypothermia. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with electronic charting systems, preferred knowledge of NICU care for neonates between 23-24 weeks gestation, and experience attending high-risk deliveries. Additional Information: The assignment requires working extensively with neonates and infants, attending neonatal surgeries, and managing specialized neonatal equipment such as oscillators, ventilators, and warming blankets. The traveler may also be asked to float to nearby facilities, including Peds and PICU, as needed. Candidates will need to commit to working at least three of the five major holidays and should include all scheduling requests upfront.
