In this position, your work will have a profound impact on the country’s most critical role – protecting our national security.KBR is seeking a SATCOM Test and Evaluation Engineer to join our team at our office in Colorado Springs, CO or El Segundo, CA.KBR (formerly LinQuest) is the prime contractor on the MILSATCOM Systems Engineering, Integration, and Test (MSEIT) contract.This job supports SSC within the SATCOM Lead Developmental Test and Evaluation Organization (LDTO). Daily tasks include developing T&E strategies, Test and Evaluation Master Plans including the Integrated Decision Support Key (IDSK), creating requirement verification and test plans, test objectives, test methodology, and evaluation criteria. As part of the LDTO team, you will assess program executed test activities, identify gaps/risks to mission implementation, develop briefings for Integrated Test Team, and execute LDTO-led test events. It is expected all individuals are familiar with DOD T&E guidance documents, deficiency reporting processes, and best practices. This job will also support T&E reviews, audits, Integrated Product Teams (IPTs), Deficiency Review Boards (DRBs), Materiel Improvement Process Review Boards (MIPRBs), and Technical Interchange Meetings (TIMs). This opportunity is part of a larger LDTO team, sitting at both MSEIT locations in Colorado Springs, CO and El Segundo, CA.The MSEIT effort provides leading edge Systems Engineering & Integration (SE&I) for the Space Force’s Space Systems Command (SSC).
