With Others is an independent neighborhood wine bar in Williamsburg built around thoughtful hospitality, low-intervention wines, seasonal food, and community.

We’re looking for an experienced Assistant General Manager / Service Manager to help lead our front-of-house team and day-to-day operations as we continue to grow our wine, food, and events programs.

This is a hands-on leadership position and a direct partner to ownership. You’ll lead service, coach and develop the FOH team, improve systems, and help keep the restaurant running smoothly.

You should be equally comfortable leading a busy Saturday night, training staff, solving problems, and working behind the scenes on scheduling, labor, inventory, and operations.

• Lead service and set a high standard for hospitality.

• Manage, coach, and develop the FOH team.

• Support scheduling, labor management, and payroll review.

• Help oversee inventory, ordering, and vendor relationships.

• Improve SOPs, systems, and training materials.

• Handle guest concerns with professionalism and care.

• Support private events, wine programming, and special projects.

• Partner with ownership on operational improvements and growth.

You’re a positive, proactive leader who genuinely enjoys hospitality and takes ownership of your work. You’re organized, accountable, calm under pressure, and comfortable holding yourself and others to a high standard.

Strong wine knowledge and prior restaurant management experience are essential for this role, and we’re looking for candidates who bring both.

• 3+ years of restaurant or hospitality management experience required.

• Strong wine knowledge and professional experience working with wine required.

• Experience leading and developing FOH teams.

• Strong organizational and communication skills.

• Ability to balance warmth and empathy with accountability.

• Proactive, entrepreneurial mindset.

• WSET certification or equivalent wine education is a plus.

• $75,000–$85,000 DOE + performance bonuses.
