Senior Center Clerk (Metairie, LA)

The Clerk provides vital clerical and administrative support to ensure the efficient daily operation of a senior center, serving as a key point of contact for seniors and the public. This role includes managing office tasks such as answering phones, handling mail, assisting clients with applications and forms, maintaining confidential records, and supporting the Senior Center Coordinator with administrative duties and volunteer coordination. The position may also step into other operational roles as needed and requires professionalism, strong organizational skills, and a compassionate approach when working with senior citizens. The Senior Center clerk is a part time position working 25 hours per week | 5 hours per day.
