Interacts with guests, residents and staff in a courteous and friendly manner. Must be capable of reading and writing the English language; follows written and verbal instruction and work assignments. Must have general working knowledge of and ability to use kitchen equipment. Must demonstrate a warm, outgoing personality. Must be able to work flexible hours, such as during staff shortages or emergency situations.We're an equal opportunity employer. Must be knowledgeable of all specials and general description of all food items being served.* Provides service in a friendly and timely manner.* Executes the sanitation process by the following: Washes tables and chairs in the dining room; Sweeps and mops the dining room floor as assigned; Takes trash to the dumpster; Washes dishes and silverware according to dish washing procedures; Puts clean dishes and silverware away; Assists with cleaning of equipment and kitchen as assigned; Maintains clean, neat, and orderly work areas* Buses tables and resets for the next meal service according to established policy and procedure.* Assists with salad bar or dessert preparation as directed* Maintains appropriate, effective communication with residents, and with residents' family and co-workers* Participates in relevant educational and training activities as appropriate* Performs all other duties as assigned or directed* Accountability - Ability to accept responsibility and account for his/her actions.* Accuracy - Ability to perform work accurately and thoroughly.* Communication, Oral - Ability to communicate effectively with others using the spoken word.* Communication, Written - Ability to communicate in writing clearly and concisely.* Customer Oriented - Ability to take care of the customers’ needs while following company procedures.* Interpersonal - Ability to get along well with a variety of personalities and individuals.* Honesty / Integrity - Ability to be truthful and be seen as credible in the workplace. #J-18808-Ljbffr
