Clinic-based, academic program with opportunities in teaching, research, and clinical urology. Dynamic, academic multi-specialty group practice providing comprehensive, multi-disciplinary care for adults and children. Based in the Level-1 763-bed trauma and academic health center, Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital/Carilion Children's Hospital. Urology services are also provided in several other Carilion hospitals including Carilion New River Valley Medical Center, Carilion Giles Community Hospital, and Carilion Rockbridge Community Hospital. The section operates clinics in five satellite locations in the region. Responsibilities Care for patients in the outpatient office. Perform OR responsibilities supported by state-of-the-art technology, advanced diagnostic tools and treatment options including Da Vinci Robots (Xi, X, and SP), ultrasound, and MRI guided prostate biopsy. Perform the full breadth of procedures of all levels of complexity. Actively involved in the education of medical students, residents from multiple CC-VTC training programs, allied health science students, and Virginia Tech undergraduate and graduate students. Compensation Min Starting Salary: $497,384 Max Starting Salary: $713,823 Eligible to participate in the Tier 1 and Tier 2 bonus compensation programs to improve the minimum salary.
