About the Position

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Burn Intensive Care Unit setting, delivering high-acuity nursing interventions to critically ill burn patients
• Follow and apply a nurse-driven burn resuscitation protocol, including orientation to facility-specific approaches based on FFP and albumin availability
• Monitor and manage ICU-level patients throughout night shifts, ensuring timely assessment, documentation, and intervention
• Float to other units as needed, including other ICUs, PCU, MedSurg/Tele, and ED Boarding
• Participate in holiday coverage on an as-needed basis

• Active Minnesota Registered Nurse (RN) license
• AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification required
• Minimum 2 years of recent ICU experience
• New graduates are not eligible for this position
• No more than 7 days of requested time off (RTO) during the contract period

• Prior burn care or Burn ICU experience is a plus, though not required
• Comfort and flexibility with floating across multiple care settings, including PCU, MedSurg/Tele, and ED environments
