Sr. Planner, Production

About the role: Sr. Production Planner responsible for scheduling finished goods and semi‑finished products. Release raw materials and packaging from contracted suppliers via SAP. Manage availability of ingredients and finished goods to ensure high customer service with the lowest possible inventory. Set inventory control parameters for the distribution center by executing the agreed Finished Goods Strategy at the product/location level. Identify slow‑moving stock and define and initiate actions to remove and prevent its recreation. Ensure operational Key Performance Indicators are met and initiate improvement plans when required. Key responsibilities include: Management of the Short and Medium Term process for factory planning Establish, coordinate, and organize customer requirements for the production lines Recommend/coordinate overtime with Production as needed Communicate and commit product availability dates to the Customer Service team Communicate with Customer Service, Logistics, and Production regarding any relevant changes and updates Manage and schedule rework, including new line trials, efficiently for production Maintain SAP/MRP Manage inventory levels for safety stock of raw materials Point person for liquid orders with continual key customer interaction Work closely with Production personnel to ensure on‑time deliveries Communicate the impact of scheduling changes to the immediate manager Ensure that key floor constraints are considered when creating schedules Manage customer requirements, including factory schedules/production, planning, and order integrity by directing manufacturing and logistics to optimise supply chain availability Intercompany CSR and contact for planning purposes About you: Bachelor’s Degree preferred 4+ years in a supply chain environment Required SAP experience Experience with Microsoft Office (Access, Word, Excel) Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment Ability to work with deadlines Ability to be cross‑trained by other team members to fill in when necessary Ability to manage and progress multiple projects simultaneously What you can expect from Barry Callebaut: Competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package Environment that welcomes workplace flexibility Atmosphere where diversity is embraced and inclusivity is second nature Opportunity to grow personally and professionally within an organization that values development and internal career growth Be part of the mission to make sustainability the norm through initiatives centred on prospering farmers, zero child labour, carbon and forest positive impacts, and creating 100% sustainable ingredients in all products We are committed to Diversity & Inclusion.
