(Per employee handbook);• Report all Safety, Health & Environmental concerns to your supervisor in a timely manner;• Attend all EH&S training.JOB RESPONSIBILITIESEssential Job Functions• Set, operate, and monitor preheat torches to insure proper operation;• Maintain inventory of tapping blocks, furnaces, furnace and tundish materials;• Assemble tapping blocks with prescribed filter configuration in accordance with the melt schedule;• Work with the Melt Team and Production Planning to coordinate inventories and bricking requirements;• May be required to assist the Melt Team on furnace changes and or spout changes;• Knock out old refractory, and install new refractory in Vacuum coils;• Knock out old refractory, and install new refractory in AOD vessels;• Required to keep work area in a clean orderly condition.BASIC QUALIFICATIONS• This position entails access to export-controlled items and employment offers are conditioned upon an applicant's ability to lawfully obtain access to such items.• Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position;• High School diploma or GED from an accredited institution;• No relocation benefit is offered for this position.
