Registered Nurse (RN) – GI Lab / OR PACU

Location: Simpsonville, SC 29681
Job Type: Contract
Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Rotating Day | 8:00-Hour Shifts
Schedule: Call Required | 4–5 Days/Month | 1 Weekend Shift Every Other Month | Floating as Needed
Local Candidates: Accepted
Traveler Candidates: Accepted
First-Time Travelers: Not Accepted

Pay Rate:

Traveler: $50 - $55

Local: $45- $50

Shift Options:

• 6:00 AM–2:30 PM
• 6:30 AM–3:00 PM
• 7:00 AM–3:30 PM
• 7:30 AM–4:00 PM

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum 1 year of recent GI Lab and OR PACU experience — Required
• Active South Carolina RN license or Compact RN license — Required
• BLS certification — Required
• ACLS certification — Required
• NIHSS certification — Required
• Minimum 1 year of EPIC experience — Required
• Experience with Pyxis and Omnicell — Preferred
• Ability to participate in call rotation
• Ability to float to other facilities as required

Responsibilities:

• Provide nursing care before, during, and after GI procedures
• Recover patients safely following procedural sedation and anesthesia
• Perform patient assessments and monitor vital signs during recovery
• Administer medications using Pyxis and Omnicell
• Monitor patients for changes in condition and respond appropriately
• Document patient care accurately in EPIC
• Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary healthcare team
• Participate in the required on-call rotation
• Float to other facilities based on operational needs
• Follow patient-safety, infection-control, and facility protocols
