Position Summary As the Transportation Account & Operations Manager, you'll serve as the primary business partner for assigned client accounts while overseeing the day-to-day transportation operations that keep those programs running smoothly. You'll work closely with clients, drivers, dispatch, maintenance, and executive leadership to deliver an exceptional customer experience. Key Responsibilities Client Relationship Management Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned corporate transportation accounts. Build long-term client relationships through outstanding communication and proactive service. Conduct regular business reviews and identify opportunities to enhance service delivery. Respond quickly and professionally to client requests, operational issues, and service concerns. Transportation Operations Oversee daily transportation operations for assigned accounts. Coordinate schedules with dispatch and operations teams to ensure reliable service. Ensure adequate staffing and arrange coverage for planned and unplanned service needs. Monitor service quality and implement improvements to maximize efficiency and customer satisfaction. Recruit, onboard, train, coach, and develop transportation personnel. Foster a positive, safety-focused, and customer-first work environment. Conduct employee performance evaluations and provide ongoing coaching. Promote teamwork, accountability, and employee engagement. Manage account budgets and monitor operational performance. Ensure accurate billing, invoicing, and financial reporting. Forecast operational needs and control costs while maintaining premium service standards. Prepare operational reports and performance metrics for leadership and clients. Compliance & Quality Assurance Ensure compliance with DOT, CHP, DMV, and all applicable federal, state, and local regulations. Monitor driver qualifications and operational procedures. Maintain accurate program documentation and operational records. Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service quality and operational efficiency. Coordinate charter transportation requests for assigned accounts. Prepare quotes, manage bookings, and oversee event execution. Partner with internal departments to ensure seamless delivery of special transportation services. What We're Looking For Required Qualifications Experience managing client accounts, transportation operations, logistics, or service delivery. Commercial Driver License (CDL Class B or higher) required. Strong leadership experience managing teams in a fast-paced operational environment. Outstanding customer service and relationship management skills. Excellent communication and conflict-resolution abilities. Strong organizational and multitasking skills. Experience with Microsoft Office and transportation or scheduling software. Ability to make sound decisions under pressure and solve complex operational challenges. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, Marketing, Transportation Management, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience. Experience managing corporate shuttle, transit, transportation, logistics, hospitality, or field operations. Knowledge of DOT regulations and passenger transportation operations. Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and operational reporting.
