Maintenance Planner

Job Responsibilities Coordinate with Job Change Coordinator and production staff to plan maintenance during downtime and maintain a planned maintenance schedule for the facility. Provide documentation of upcoming work, including parts lists/kits required. Review and improve the maintenance and planning processes to improve efficiency and remove waste, including but not limited to cost, manning, and materials. Understand storeroom inventories, min/max, and work with storeroom personnel to manage parts inventory and prioritize ordering against available M&E budgets. Interface with the safety observation, walk‑and‑talk, and near‑miss processes within the plant to ensure alignment of maintenance resources and activities to improve employee safety and environmental compliance. Required Skills & Experience Strong leadership skills with the ability to hold people accountable. Plant maintenance background in a manufacturing environment. Knowledge of basic mechanical parts (motors, gear gearboxesrings). Previous experience managing projects and meeting deadlines. Qualifications High School diploma required. Associate degree or Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline preferred. Experience working as a mechanic or in a hands‑on maintenance capacity. Computer literacy/proficiency, experience using SAP highly desired. Experience working in a union environment is preferred. Additional Information Salary Range: The expected salary range for this position is between $100,000 and $129,000 and includes a possible 12% quarterly incentive bonus.
