Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse (RN) Specialty: Med Surg/Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Days Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 24 months of current Med Surg / Medical Surgical / Med Surg Tele experience required License: Active Iowa/IA license or compact/multistate license required Certifications: BLS certification required Must-Have: - Experience in Med Surg care, including overflow of post-operative surgical hips and knees - EPIC EMR experience required - Charge experience required - Experience caring for psych patients preferred Description: We are seeking a Registered Nurse specializing in Med Surg/Telemetry. The position involves caring for a variety of Med Surg patients, including overflow post-operative surgical cases and patients requiring psychiatric care. Patient-to-nurse ratios are expected to be 4-5:1. The unit accommodates a bed size of 24. Nurses will float across all campuses as needed. Travelers will be required to work 1-2 of the upcoming Winter holidays unless the unit is closed. Candidates must have the ability to extend beyond the initial 13-week contract. Navy blue scrubs are required for the position.
