Warehouse Maintenance Mechanic

Ingles Markets is looking for a Maintenance Technician for its Distribution Center located in Black Mountain, NC. As a Maintenance Technician, you will: Responsibilities Ensure facilities and equipment are maintained and in working order. Complete basic plumbing repairs, small scale electrical jobs, troubleshooting, mechanical and electrical repairs. Compensation Pay starting at $20.14/hr., depends on experience. Multiple shifts - Certification and shift differential may apply. Start earning Paid Time Off day 1 (FT). Weekly pay with direct deposit. Opportunities for advancement. Employment Requirements Must be 18 years of age or older. Will conduct a Criminal Background Check. Must pass an E-Verify Screening. Valid driver’s license required for operating company service vehicles. Physical Requirements Varied warehouse environments. Standing, sitting, kneeling, crouching, climbing required. Must have the ability to operate a forklift. Must have the ability to read schematics. Experience Applicants should have a High School Diploma or equivalent. Must have a good mechanical background, with working knowledge of circuit electricity, plumbing, and basic refrigeration. Must want to work and have excellent attendance.
