Job Details:

• Minimum Qualifications: Certifications include Basic Life Support (BLS) & Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) & Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) & Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) & Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP); minimum of 2 years of previous travel experience, 2 years of clinical experience, and 1 year minimum in emergency department care.
• Preferred Qualifications: Not specified.
• Float: Float rotation may not be required.
• Additional Information: Nurse to patient ratio 1:5 max, typically 1:3-4. Orientation lasts 2-3 days. Responsibilities include starting IVs, performing venipuncture, conducting EKGs, and managing sheaths. Clinicians will utilize ICU medical intravenous pumps, Nihon Kohden bedside monitors, Novastat glucometer, Airvo, and Bipap units. Clinical protocols include drips and infusions, O2 initiation and weaning, Bipap support, and standard nursing skills related to sepsis, stroke, myocardial infarction, and trauma.
