Substation Engineering Manager

My client, a growing renewable energy company, is hiring a Substation Engineering Manager to lead substation design and engineering across a pipeline of utility-scale projects. This role owns the technical side end to end, from design and specs through to commissioning, and works closely with procurement, construction and project teams. What you’ll do Lead substation design and engineering across a multi-project portfolio Own one-lines, layouts, grounding, P&C and equipment specs Manage and review the work of external engineering firms Work with utilities, vendors and internal teams to hit technical and schedule requirements Support projects through construction, testing and commissioning Build out engineering standards and QC processes Mentor and develop engineers What you’ll bring BSEE or related degree 8+ years in electrical engineering, with deep substation design experience Experience leading engineers, consultants or multidisciplinary teams Strong HV/MV substation, protection and control knowledge Utility, transmission, generation or renewables background Working knowledge of IEEE/ANSI, NEC and NESC Nice to have PE license Solar, storage or EPC project experience SCADA, relaying and substation automation experience #J-18808-Ljbffr
