Production Assembler

Entry Level Trainee - Aerospace Manufacturing CompanyThis entry-level position offers an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in aircraft manufacturing processes. The role involves working in a team environment under direct supervision to perform structural assembly operations.ResponsibilitiesPerform one or more of the following composite part manufacturing functions: lay-up, cutting, bagging, autoclave, in a production environment.Ensure parts and work content meet the instructions of assigned manufacturing employees and/or Quality Control Inspectors.Learn to read work orders, blueprints, and specification sheets to determine sequence of operation and work requirements.Align and assemble parts to be riveted using holding fixtures, pins, clamps, and fasteners.Observe and assist to become familiar with parts and assemblies, then work with decreasing supervision as experience is gained.Perform other duties as assigned.Essential SkillsHigh School Diploma or GED required.Strong mechanical aptitude.Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.Listening and computer keyboard skills.Proficiency in current personal computer-based software.Must be able to lift and transport objects up to 40 pounds.Additional Skills & QualificationsEnrollment in a Technical Aviation program preferred.Ability to read a scale and perform basic shop math.Read and comprehend basic documents and instructions.Aptitude for hands-on craftwork.Professional attitude and attention to detail.Ability to work with people and meet demanding schedules.Good housekeeping and safety practices.Must be available to work any shift.Why Work Here?This position offers a long-term opportunity with an established aviation company.
