Director of Finance

Director Of FinanceOur client, a global entertainment company, is seeking a Director of Finance to partner closely with executive leadership and provide strategic financial oversight across multiple high-growth business units. This will be a fully onsite role working out of their office in Santa Monica and will serve as a key finance leader, driving planning, analysis, reporting, and business decision support in a fast-paced, creative environment.Please no corp-to-corp applicants or third-party agencies. Sub-contracted candidates or candidates that require immediate sponsorship cannot be considered.Role Overview:Contract Role: 6 monthsPay: $76-81/hr W2 (No C2C or 1099)Schedule: Fully Onsite M-F, standard 9AM to 5PMResponsibilities:Lead annual budgeting, forecasting, long-range planning, and financial modeling processes to support business growth and strategic initiatives.Deliver meaningful financial analysis and insights to senior leadership, helping guide investment decisions, business performance, and resource allocation.Oversee monthly financial reporting, variance analysis, and presentations for executive management and corporate finance stakeholders.Evaluate and support new business opportunities, investments, acquisitions, and greenlight decisions through financial diligence and scenario analysis.Monitor project and operating expenditures to ensure alignment with approved budgets, financial objectives, and company policies.Serve as a key liaison between business units and corporate finance teams while supporting financial systems, process improvements, and ERP-related initiatives.Required Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred6+ years of progressive financial leadership experienceSuperb analytical and critical thinking skillsPrior experience working within the media, animation, or gaming industryStrong understanding of industry-specific financial regulations and compliance standardsAdvanced Microsoft Excel skillsExperience utilizing SAP Ariba or Oracle Fusion is preferredFluency is Spanish is a plusThe Solomon Page DistinctionSolomon Page offers a comprehensive benefit program for hourly employees.
