LOCATION: Roaring Brook Elementary School, Grafflin Elementary School, and Westorchard Elementary School in Chappaqua, NY

PAY RATE: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour

SCHEDULE : Follows the school calendar

Morning Program : 7:30 - 9:00 am

Afternoon Program: 2:55 - 5:15 pm

Opportunities may be available for morning, afternoon, or both programs.

Healthy Kids Programs is hiring School-Age Childcare Staff for our Before and After School Program at Roaring Brook Elementary School, Grafflin Elementary School, and Westorchard Elementary School in Chappaqua, NY for the 2026-2027 school year.

Healthy Kids Programs provides childcare for school-age children (ages 5-12) enrolled in our program on the days and during the hours you work. Position Responsibilities

• Facilitate hands-on activities following the Healthy Kids Curriculum which includes fitness, STEAM, academic, art, and other group activities as well as homework completion.
• Provide a safe, healthy, and fun environment and acting as a positive role model for children in the program.
• Observe state guidelines, Healthy Kids Extended Day Program policies, and host school policies.
• Support program operations, which may include attendance records, registration, and staffing responsibilities.

Requirements

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• 18 years or older and hold a High School Diploma or equivalent required
• 1 year of experience working with kids under 13 preferred
• Required health clearance, including TB screening, in accordance with state regulations.
• Must demonstrate a positive attitude, strong interpersonal skills, professionalism, and reliability.
• Physically able to bend, stretch, lift, and carry up to 50 pounds while actively engaging with children throughout the day.
