About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical/Surgical/Telemetry Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years required License: Valid nursing license required Certifications: ACLS BLS NIHSS or Stroke Certification Must-Have: Weekend availability required, every other weekend Required skills include telemetry monitoring, medication administration, and post-operative care Description: The Registered Nurse will provide care for adult and geriatric patients. The nurse will be responsible for assessing patient needs, developing care plans, and implementing appropriate interventions. They will administer medications and perform diagnostic tests as required. Collaboration with interdisciplinary teams will be essential to ensure comprehensive patient care. The nurse will need to effectively monitor patient conditions and recognize any changes that may require intervention. Documentation of patient care and communication with family members are key components of this role. The nurse will participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes. Bilingual skills are a plus but not required. Flu vaccines are mandated. Compliance with attendance policies is essential. Possessing strong clinical assessment and interpersonal skills is vital for success in this position.
